What is Aussiez?

Aussiez is a place where members can upload photos and videos, chat with friends, and promote their lives using blogs or forums. Whether it be locally in Australia, or from all across the world, unique and interesting people have gathered to form this community. They're all eager to share life experiences, interests, and meet new friends. Whether you're keeping in touch with friends, chatting, sharing photos/videos, or just merely expressing yourself, there will always be other people awaiting your arrival on Aussiez!

How do I register?

If you don't already have an Aussiez account, you can create one here. After filling out all the necessary data on the form, your Aussiez adventure begins! Follow the instructions and get ready to partake in everything Aussiez has to offer. Of course you'll need a valid email address in order to complete the registration process. In case you face any trouble while registering, our user-friendly Support Team will be more than happy to assist you.

What are the rules of the community?

Every healthy society must have at least a few rules. First and foremost, any content you upload must comply with our policy on decency. Also your content may not violate any copyright restrictions. Any pornographic or otherwise offensive material will be deleted and just may result in the offender's account being suspended. Be sure to read through the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

What does it cost to join Aussiez?

Nothing! Every feature Aussiez is completely free. It will cost you absolutely nothing to upload an unlimited number of photos and videos, create a profile, and chat with other people. Aussiez is supported solely by advertising revenue.

How can I retrieve my password?

You can retrieve your password by clicking here and following the instructions. You will need to enter the email address that is currently associated with your account. We'll then email your password to that address.

How do I log out permanently?

If you don't want to be logged in automatically, deselect 'Remember me'. Being logged in automatically can also have to do with your cookies settings.

To delete these cookies, follow these steps:

Internet Explorer:

• Click on Tools > Internet Options
• Click on 'Delete cookies' and then on OK
• Your cookies are now deleted
• Close and re-open Internet Explorer. Go to Aussiez. You are no longer logged in automatically.

Firefox:

• Go to your Firefox Preferences
• Go to the Privacy section
• Click 'Show cookies'
• Delete the Netlog cookies

How do I make my profile private?

To make your profile private, simply go to your profile settings. You can then select who will be able to view your profile. You can make your profile accessible to friends, 2nd degree friends, or everyone. If someone tries to access your page outside of the selection you chose, they will only see your public profile which contains your nickname, location, and avatar.

How do I delete my profile?

Sign in and go to your Profile Settings page and click the "Delete profile" link. Then follow the instructions.

If I decline a friend request, or I remove a person from my friend list, will the person find out?

No. Your friends are your business. If you decline a friend request or delete a person from your friend list that person will not be notified. Your personal contact information will be removed from their friend list.
